Message qwerty: so, I took off my rad cap and let the Z run for a while as suggested by Nixit yesterday. I saw no bubbles come out at all. Seems to run fine still, guess I'll let it run some more after work. Oh, and looking at the temp scale it only got to the top of the normal operating scale, it didn't go all the way to "H", which is a good thing I guess.

you wont see bubbles leave the car. Your looking for the water level in the radiator to lower. then you add more water.
I had to squeeze the inlet pipe (top 2" rubber tube) several times to help force air out. That should cure the percolating.
You may need to inspect your fan clutch as well. Your symptoms indicate that this is the case. Although, at speed, you should have a problem...hmmm...

: Part two: Anyone have any good ideas where to go on a second date around Dallas? I was thinking of taking Julie to the Granada or maybe the Pocket Sandwich Theatre....anyone have any good suggestions for something interesting?
: Thanks,

is baseball still being played? this is the best 2nd thru 5th date you could ever do. It's so boring, you're required to talk, and laugh, and have fun. Plus they serve drinks.
taking a girl to the movies is a waste, unless you need a buddy to see fastandfurious before you dump her. Girls dig talking and focusing on them. Movies dont allow that. save that stuff for later on.
dinner is cool, but usually very noisy, making conversation difficult and soft touches akward.
definently try for a baseball game...i hate baseball, but having the company of a lady turns it into a sport.
good luck.
